Counsellor / Psychotherapists

Two permanent posts and one maternity cover (1 year) post

These posts offer the opportunity to work with a wide variety of issues in a range of contracts (six months to two years) and psychotherapeutic activities. The successful candidates will have enthusiasm for improving access to specialist women’s psychological therapies for those who have not traditionally accessed such services. Experience of working with pregnant women and new mums OR with women from BAME communities is essential. Experience of providing psychotherapeutic groups or the ability to speak Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi fluently would be an advantage.

Salary £25,938 – £31,640 (pro rata) depending on skills and experience plus 5% employer pension.  17.5 – 28 hours per week (negotiable).  Including at least one evening to 7pm, Wednesday morning team meetings and Fridays to 4pm.

Applications are invited from qualified female counsellors or psychotherapists either with full UKCP Registration / BACP Accreditation or eligibility for, and significant relevant experience. WCTS offers a range of post levels, Qualified and working towards accreditation; Accredited; and Senior Accredited.
