Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service is an award-winning organisation working with disadvantaged and vulnerable girls and women. We are determined to offer much needed support during these challenging times and are seeking women to join us as

Counsellor / Psychotherapist

Two posts

21 – 28 hours per week

Salary £25,752- £32,399 (pro rata) depending on skills and experience plus 5% employer pension.

These posts offer the opportunity to work with a wide variety of issues in a range of contracts (six months to two years) and psychotherapeutic activity. The successful candidates will have enthusiasm for improving access to specialist psychological therapies for women and girls who have not traditionally accessed such services.

Experience of working with 16-17 year olds, providing psychotherapeutic groups and or the ability to speak Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi fluently would be an advantage.

Applications are invited from female counsellors or psychotherapists with a minimum of 400 hours and 2 years of  relevant post-qualification experience. Potential candidates are expected to hold full UKCP or HCPC registration/ BACP accredited status or to be eligible and willing to apply.

All posts are based at Portland Street, Leeds LS1 3DR with the Counsellors also working from Leeds community venues. NB We are currently operating a working from home service
