We look forward to welcoming you

Overview of services

We offer free and low cost individual and group counselling and psychotherapy to Leeds women and girls on a low-income.

We have an open service and further specialised services for example working with mothers, those who have experienced sexual violence or abuse (recent and not recent), young women etc.

After you or someone on your behalf completes an enquiry or referral form you will be offered an initial meeting / assessment. This a key discussion with an experienced therapist to work out together whether the service will be an appropriate and helpful step. If counselling or therapy is appropriate the different types will be discussed.

If you decide to go ahead you will join a waiting list. Usual waiting time is around three – six months.

Counselling at WCTS is free. We do welcome donations if this is something you would like to do.
