MumsTalk Project Therapist

Work with mothers

We are currently providing specialised psychological therapies for mothers:

WCTS’s Perinatal Mental Health Service is a specialist service for women who are pregnant or have a baby under one year old. The therapy focuses on helping women to stabilize, manage and regulate their emotional and psychological well-being during the perinatal period, and to help women bond with their babies.

We are proud to be part of the Perinatal Pathway for Leeds.  Click here for more information.

WCTS’s MumsTalk Counselling Project is funded by the Tudor Trust. It works with mothers and female carers dealing with current issues or long-standing difficulties which affect their ability to care for themselves or their children. The therapy is recovery-focused, and is aimed at supporting women to manage their own emotional and psychological well-being and that of their children.  Referrals should be made by professionals working with women and their families.

Please note, WCTS is not able to offer childcare for these services.
