Covid-19 Pandemic

Hello everyone, we have adjusted our services due to Covid, now mainly working by phone or video call. Our aim is to resume our normal service as soon as we can.  You can stay in touch with us on Social Media where we post tips and resources to support your wellbeing.

As a staff team and Board of trustees we are staying in touch with each other online – see photos above 🙂

Black Lives Matter

We have been really affected by the horrific and tragic death of George Floyd. Read our thoughts and action we plan to take here.

WCTS Services

Unfortunately, we are unable to take referrals into our General (main) Service at the moment as the waiting list is full. We open and close the waiting list so no one waits more than six months for counselling, as research shows waiting for longer than this can have a negative effect on mental health. We will post here when the General (main) Service waiting list opens.

We are able to accept counselling referrals for our project work supporting:

Perinatal Casework Support
  • For women in the perinatal period who want to access therapy at WCTS whilst facing barriers which prevent them from engaging with us. Referrals from professionals only. Please click here for more information

WCTS Antenatal Group

  • For women who are twenty weeks pregnant or over, and expected to deliver their baby in the period of the Covid-19 restrictions, we can help you prepare for your labour / birth. Please click here for more information

By accessing our services remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic you are accepting these Counselling and Psychotherapy Remote Sessions Agreements.
