Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service is currently offering mainly phone or zoom counselling for Leeds women and girls on low incomes.  We can also offer women receiving counselling support with wider health issues or in areas such as housing There is no charge for services – donations are welcome. Covid-19 Pandemic

Hello everyone, we have adjusted our services due to Covid, now mainly working by phone or video call. Our aim is to resume our normal service as soon as we can.  You can stay in touch with us on Social Media where we post tips and resources to support your wellbeing.

Black Lives Matter

We have been really affected by the horrific and tragic death of George Floyd. Read our thoughts and action we plan to take here.


Unfortunately, we are unable to take referrals into our General (main) Service at the moment as the waiting list is full – we open and close the waiting list so one one waits more than six months for counselling as research shows waiting for longer than this can have a negative effect on mental health. We will post here when the waiting list opens.

  • For women who are twenty-four weeks pregnant or over, and expected to deliver their baby in the period of the Covid-19 restrictions, we can help you prepare for your labour / birth. Please click here for more information
