“I am really grateful that WCTS exists. The counselling helped me significantly and I wouldn't have been able to afford a private counsellor”

Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service offers accessible counselling and psychotherapy for Leeds women and girls on low incomes. Venues are in the city centre and in communities around Leeds. There is no charge for services – donations are welcome. Learn about our services here.

Hello everyone,  our offices are closed to face to face services. All counselling and case work has moved to phone or online counselling and Keep in Touch calls for the time being.

By accessing the remote services during the Covid 19 pandemic you are accepting these updated Remote Counselling Services Client Contract Agreements

We are not currently accepting referrals: please visit MindWell for information on all other Leeds services . Please ring your GP or 111 if you need immediate health advice. Or ring Emergency services where there is an immediate severe risk to health.

We are working hard to re open to referrals for counselling services. In the meantime stay in touch with us on Social Media where from next week we will be posting tips and resources to support your wellbeing.

For wider information about support and help visit MindWell, where you can find mental health information for everyone in Leeds.

We work within the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
